Benefits. Have a quick look at This document that outlines what Brexit brings then see if you are still laughing so much.
If you are, it shows you truly have not understood the situation.

Yes - but after January 1st though there will have to be checks going out of Spain as well as Gib will no longer be in the EU.
Unless, of course, it returns to Spain ......
Gibraltar will never return to Spain how many times , have they voted I have many friends there and none want spain rule ...even the spanish do not want it they know employment is good there at the moment and if Spain was in control all the shops etc would depart nope Gibraltar is successful as it is and everyone knows it .... every vote by them has ended in over 90 percent saying no to Spain

Well then letâs hope they are not sacrificed on the altar of political expediency ... because Spain wants Gibraltar, and they could become little more than a bargaining chip if things get difficult

Cannot see that happening and Spain and the rest of Europe can do all they like, it will take more than threats also I see Spainâs toursim not so good. And it will continue to decline. I can see a no deal happening. And there will be trouble especially with the fishing rights ... ( well
Are fishing rights ) it will be tit for tat. And I think everyone knows that. But thatâs what governments do. As I hate sea food. It will not be a problem
To me. But for Europeanâs it will be yes the French will strike stop lorries etc. But only for so long. Everyone knows it will be tough for all .. only time will know what eventually happens ....

Tourism in Spain : not as bad as feared - still down, but we still got a few million tourists through. Tourism wonât continue to decline - once Coronavirus is over, tourism will be back to where it was. Brexit, thankfully, will not affect people coming here for a holiday at all.
Fishing rights ... thatâs going to be troublesome, but more so for UK, who signed an international treaty on fishing rights quite some time ago now, which is going to make it difficult to negotiate from a position of âweâre reclaiming whatâs oursâ - not quite, UK signed it away before joining the EEC ... so maybe theyâll just go back on that - who knows.
There may be a no deal ... or Boris May cave at the eleventh hour after figuring heâs not going to win this particular round of brinksmanship ... how can he? Heâs not exactly bargaining from any great position of strength because contrary to popular belief, the EU doesnât âneed us more than we need themâ.

In jan 2020 the uk goverment past a law about fisheries , which gives the uk the legalisation to leave Eu rules ...and act as a independent state ..the bill removed the automatic right of Eu vessels to fish In uk waters ...Theresa Villiers said we are leaving the failed Eu failed policy and will under this new law run are own fisheries laws. So I do not agree with you about the past agreement you know like I do all goverments have the power to overturn past governments laws and boris is a massive proof of this .. and I disagree with Eu having the upper hand if they did why not just say ok uk just go we do not care your loss not ours ? Weâre most in uk want a no deal ... none of us will know what will happen as we cannot see into the future itâs all a guessing game with opinions from every country and every person. Imo and we all have one it will even itself out in time but in the short time there will be no winners or losers. .....

Excuse me, but what you've just said is that the UK passed a new fisheries law in 2020....
How can you sign treaty with a group of countries one year and then decide it's null and void because it doesn't suit you anymore because you decide to opt out of the group? Every country in the EU is going to suffer as a result, in some degree, by this very impulsive and selfish decision to leave and creating a new law to invalidate the original one without group consensus is something any serious country shouldn't be doing. I am certainly no expert on this sort of matter but it doesn't sound very much like the fair play to me that the Britain I was proud of used to known for.

They can pass all the laws they like - it doesnât excuse an existing signed international treaty - but thatâs one for International Courts to figure out. It means pain for the UK, and may just let a few more people know just badly theyâve been misled and lied to over what Brexit means.
There probably wonât be much in the way of winners - but UK is going to discover the hard way what losing feels like.

Excuse or not are laws will be are laws and the Eu can do nothing about it .. as it will happen we are a independent island now and I disagree about us losing but we will see ... as for boris. He imo has only been used as a figurehead by the rest of his cabinet and I am not sure he will last either way ... he done his job getting out of the EU imo others now will challenge him when weâre fully out ...
