Hi there everyone! First time posting!  Hubby and I have just purchased a flat in Almería city. In spite of repeatedly voicing to the real estate agent to have prior owners take their “ stuff” leave the place empty, they made sure to please the sellers but dump on us. We are willing to pay for someone to remove this stuff! Bedroom furniture old dining room table and chairs, old stove & stove top. Bunch of wall pictures & so on….Some can be used but other dumped. Anybody know of someone besides Betel & Reto company that can take these things out of our hands by paying? Thank you so much!!

Micaela

Just a note for anyone in same position, you need to tell your lawyer that furniture has to be removed and that you wont go to the notary until it is. Then the day before the notary go to the premises yourself and check it has been cleared. Telling the estate agent is usually a waste of time.

try your local charity shops or ask in the townhall if they know of a charity that can use furniture otherwise you can place items by the refuse bins at the beginning of the month for collection.

That’s such a great advice!! Thank you Jenni!

After over 4 days researching and calling companies, one showed up today. I paid €200.00+ for our peace of mind. I know they’re going to make money out of most of the stuff. Since June, the estate agent had been promising to remove the stuff. Even the sellers told me today that he promised the same to them. Seller’s lies!
Pls follow Jenni’s advice. Too late for me! Thank you!

In my village there is a place where twice a month they pick up any furniture.i had the same but bit by bit I took it to collection point full beds old computers my roof terrace room was full.usually find people have taken it before it gets picked up..of course your point of collection could be a bit of a distance.
