Mandarin Bushes

Hi

Has any body out there have an answer to this question????

For the last 4 years the Mandarin bush has fruited Mandarins without pips, however, this year there seems to be a 50 / 50 split whereas there are Mandarins without pips and Mandarins with pips....any ideas?????

Maybe the tree is now mature enough to produce young trees from seeds? Just a thought....Nature is wonderful....

You are only as old as the person you feel!! I will look out for you in the police notifications in the local paper! LOL.  If the tree is old, then I do know that shrubs give out lots of blooms when they are about to die  so that could be it? Sad.....

Thanks for your reply, the bush is about 5 or 6 years old, so maybe they do have a short life span.

Appearing on the front page of the Police Gazette next week.......ha ha ha
