I agree with Duggy, DigiMobil all the way.  Dedicated English language service line and phenomenal pricing - 30€ a month for 1 Gb/s synchronous Fibre optic.  I use them at home and in the shop.

Hi,

Rednet in hurcal overa I use theirs, (via small dish) no issues with it, pay up front for the year, works out at around £200 for the year, we internet surf, watch TV and Netflix through it. Good signal and we are in the mountains just beyond Almanzora.

If you're in the Campo of Nijar you probably don't have the option of a fibre optic connection.  I am in a rural area and don't have a telephone line and I wanted  connection for a computer and a smart TV, so I had WiFi installed by Next in Turre.  They also speak English.  You could see if they cover your area.

I too am looking for a reliable connection in Almeria. I'm thoroughly fed up with Movistar. Thanks for the suggestion. Angela

And if you can get Movistar you can definitely get Digi as Digi is carried on Telefonica Fibre lines.

I’ve had Digi well over a year and enthusiastically recommend them.  I swapped from a rather expensive and frankly lackluster Movistar Fibre at the shop to Digi and haven’t looked back since.

Thank you very much Duggy, that information is very useful. I'll pass this information onto my son-in-law as he's our techy man, perhaps he can apply online, if not, I'm down in April so hopefully I can get things moving. Movistar is so expensive and we have tried a number of times to take advantage of their cheaper contracts but they simply refuse to accept the change and insist on sending invoices based on the old rate. I've even had the phone put down on me and when going online to 'chat', the operator just suddenly ended the chat. Unbelievably bad service. I'm so grateful for your help.
