Hi All

I agree with Karl64 and the rest of the posts no flights out of Cardiff I live just out side and travel to Bristol and Easyjet have flights tree days a week through the winter Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday, to Murcia International,I flew into Almaria for the first time this April from Bristol which knocks off at least 30 minutes of my journey to Vera but of course is not possible any more due to Thomas Cook going bust not sure if another airline takes up the slot, but it would be nice to have a flight from Cardiff to either Almaria or Murcia in the future it would save a lot of time on the road both ends of a flight fingers crossed it may happen in the near future

Honey 123,we've owned our apartment for 35 year's so we definitely didn't buy it because we wanted a mass of tourists because when we came here there wasn't anything here appart from beautiful sea views, sun and good food...but at least we could get here without travelling miles out of our way...why bother advertising it as a tourist destination when you can only get here from one airport during the winter months...it's ridiculous when so many people want to visit in the winter due to the great weather...

Yes it would be better to have the option of a flight  from Cardiff to Murcia. However my flight from Bristol to Murcia on 12/12/19. Is £14.99 going out and £8.99. Return easy jet.

Cardiff would never be as cheap as that.

Hi Neil

You had a bargin, I booked flights from Bristol to Murcia and reurn back in June out on 14th Dec return 11th Jan  for two of us at a cost of £105 which I thought was a good deal I can say that the flights with Easjet are more than reasonable most times of the year there are times when they are more expensive last year we tried to book just before Xmas but it was £298 per person , we have booked our flights for the rest of the year for April-July August and today I have had notification of the from October 2020 onwards so will be looking at these to go out at the end of the year

Thanks for your post

If Almeria wants to boost its appeal it needs to improve its airport service with more flights at prices that compete with the likes of Malaga, Alicante & Murcia.

There seems to be a misunderstanding that the tourist board have influence on airlines, they dont. The likes of easyjet and ryanair survive and offer low fares is because they only fly routes that have demand to fill their flights. Whilst we property owners here would like winter flights, unfortunately there are insufficient casual visitors to support them. O,leary will fly anywhere if its profitable. This is the downside of cheap fares.

Jim

PS will an airline start offerring cheap canine transportation, as i,m tired of long drive and ferry.

Hi Jim

Thanks for your input most welcomed, understand perfectly what your said it was just wishfull thinking on my part for easer travel to and from airports we have been traveling back and fore for twelve years so should be use to all the pro and cons of traveling to Almaria as said before we fly into Murcia but would very much like to fly to Almaria which would reduce travel onwards by about 30 minutes, also flights form Cardiff again would be very nice, we are very flexible as to travel dates and and most times have cheap flights but get to Bristol for your flight means leaving home at 3am in the morning so dont get much sleep that night

Thanks take care regards

Richie
