I wonder, in case one needs an ambulance here, how does that work?
Do you call the ambulance by yourself, or does a doctor need to that.
What number do you call? 112?
Anybody has an idea how much (if) they charge you?

call 112 and they direct the call to an english speaking nurse who asks relevant questions before sending an ambulance. A doctor usually comes with it from your local surgery and no there is no charge with the green card registration.
When my husband had a heart attack we couldn't praise the service more it was fantastic and saved his life.
