Hi Steve,

Many thanks for your message much appreciated.  Sorry I do have another question what would you say on average your monthly expenditure is, I don't mean to be personal but an idea would be appreciated.  At the moment we are looking in a development of villas just outside the town n...

...umber 35 and 70 I don't know is these means anything to you.  Would you say the walk into town is difficult it looks like a steep hill!

Thank you Gill

It varies in the winter it is wood, in the summer air con which is necessary as it gets very hot and electric for the pump on the pool and water to top the pool as in the sun it can drop overnight.  Say 80€ a month for electric would think.  You still have your rates say 250€ Plus a year plus depending on the size of the plot etc, it is cheaper than the UK but it all depends if your income is ok say retirement pension.   Don’t know which houses you mean are they up by the cemetery or up the main road.

The road back is steep but you can park down the bottom and walk to the village for exercise.  It is a village which means it is full of hills unfortunately.  Colin

I know no. 35, it is down the road from us, it is not as high to climb back it depends how fit you are, there is a cut through, although there is still a hill to climb, you don’t have to walk up and down the road.

Hi Gill.

The walk to the town is hilly depending on how fir you are ie doggy knees like me I manage fine there are trails that go through to the village. As for our monthly  outgoings I would say.600- 700 that's included insurance food bills everything. We are still learning though. But I would say it's a great place to live. Would it be a permanent  move or a Holiday home. If you don't mind me asking how old are you

I would day the average  age here is about 55- 60. We have a fantastic  support system. One of the local councillors  is British so any news on anything comes straight down the line via Steve then Sandra sends out a news letter ranging topics from Covid to cakes and pies. Everyone helps everyone out well that's what we have found. If you want to integrate in to the community that's the best way to get involved even bingo is a laugh.all the best take care. Steve. P.s I'm not the councillor there are about 5 Steve's here.

Hi Steve

Thank you so much for the information that has been a great help.  This will be a permanent home for us we hope to retire, Geoff is 63 and i am an active 67 however we are still running our own business in the uk which is currently up for sale.

We sold a property last year in Spain intending to look for something more suitable, however this was in March just as lock-down struck so nothing happened.  Starting our search again we like the sound of Albanchez so may just go with a live video viewing - not ideal I know but time is marching on!

Many thanks once again Gill
