Hi folks.

Only just found this forum. I've lived in Albanchez for nearly 15 years now and I'm proud to be part of the community and the local council.

Please message me if you have any questions regarding this lovely little village.

Steve.

Hi Steve, thank you for your post.  My partner Robin and myself have just purchased a house in the village of Cobdar, and complete on the purchase 6 October, coming over for 3 weeks on 11th.   It is a holiday home for us and our extended family but being retired, I plan on visiting several times throughout the year making sure that I keep within the 90 day /180 rule.  It would be really nice to meet up with you at some point as we want to get involved in the local communities whenever we can, and meet as many Brits in the area as possible  to ensure we have a good network of experience, knowledge and support for one another.  Is it possible to exchange personal email/ phone details so that we can get in touch outside of this forum?  Regards Tracy

Hi. Just completed on our house in Albanchez a couple of weeks ago. Does anybody know if there is a local bus service around Albanchez or if there is a service from the airport? Thanks

The Alsa bus leaves Albanchez every morning at 7am-ish Mon to Fri, to Almeria. The return bus arrives here around 5pm.

There's no local bus service to Huercal Overa or Albox.

El Pinar de Bedar or Bedar itself are beautiful. Contact Olive properties in Bedar for details of what is available. Jo and Tim are really helpful as is Pip in the office.

Hi Steve.

My wife and I are looking to move to Albanchez.

Hopefully this will be in the near future and we have lots of questions to ask you.

Is there an alternative way in which we may contact you.

Kind Reguards.

Scenic route the back way to Almeria airport is 80km, stunning drive and will take you about 1hr 10mins. Motorway to Murcia is about 1hr 30mins, Alicante just over 2hrs. With the new stretch of motorway opening soon between La Alfoqia and the E15, the beaches of Vera, San Juan, Mojacar 45/50 mins.

Send me a PM of details of the house👍

Look at Los gallardos.... 10 mins to Mojacar. 2 mins to motorway. Shops banks pubs market health centre dentist and a bus service...... detached villas on HuertacNueva which is a 10 min walk to the town on safe footpaths.
