Is there anyone here who likes to grow their own ? Just wondering how you get on compared to uk. Can you grow things like potato’s  onions and garlic or is the ground/weather unsuitable? I’m guessing things like chillies peppers tomatoes do well ? Don’t laugh it’s only a stupid question if you know the answer cheers mick

Things grow well here. I've grown onions, squash, courgettes, peppers, chillis, tomatoes, asparagus, broccoli, lettuce. I've not personally grown potatoes but a friend of mine does successfully. Best way is try it and see! Good luck, it's fantastic just going into the garden and picking something you've grown for lunch!

Do you grow straight in the ground?

Yes. Have also grown some things like peppers and chillis in pots. Have sown my own seeds but sometimes buy young seedling plants from the market.

Hi there, my friend got hers from her dad and he's been growing them for years. I would imagine the markets that sell seedlings would know if you asked for 'patatas de siembra.' or there's this online company which seems to have a great choice: https://www.fitoagricola.net/es/tienda-online/Catalog/listing/patatas-de-siembra-42312/1
