Can anyone recommend: New Year

We have just purchased an apartment in Vera Playa very near the Bistro restaurant and Millionaires bar. We have arranged to visit over New Year as well and are wondering if there are any recommendations for restaurants or bars on New Years Eve? I tried to book The Bistro but that is fully booked.
Any recommendations and any suggestions for things to do on New Years Eve and New Years Day would be appreciated.
Oh one last thing (got to get my money's worth! 😜 ) what's the weather normally like around that time?
