Hi all,

Could anyone recommend a public doctor in Vera. Even better if they speak English. Is the service good?

Thanks

Hi Alicia,

Thanks for your reply. I meant a doctor in the Spanish health system.

Do you know where the health centre is in Vera?  I think you just go there and they'll assign you a doctor.  Do you have your health card yet?  I am presuming you are permanent residents and retired.

It is a bit difficult dealing with doctors at the moment, especially if you don't speak Spanish.  The consultations are very limited because of Covid.

The vera medical centre ask for Angela she can speak some English.  I think you have to register first and cat can help you with this

Hi, just opened your message, be aware that there is a "Notice in English" in the Reception Area at the Centro Salud VERA stating that if you do not speak Spanish you must have a Translator with you!
