Can anybody help? - We are bringing our Boxer dog out to Spain in May for a few weeks.

Will we have to muzzle her when out in public?

Also, can anybody recommend a good English speaking vet in Vera?

Many thanks

Some regions have added boxers and had to the list.  You need to check with the ayuntamiento.  Found this on cab Spain.  Not sure about vets as don't have pets.  Think most are pretty good

I can recommend Vera Vet https://www.veravet.com/en they are just off the roundabout to the left coming from Garrucha at The Plaza de Toros. We have used them several times for our dog’s needs

Alternatively if you’re close to Vera Playa there’s a relatively new vets behind Consum, I can’t comment on how good they are as not used them but they may be more convenient for you.

I am 99.9% sure that you dont have to muzzle your Boxer, they dont come under the dangerous dogs list here. but to be 100% sure either ask the vet or ask at your local town hall.

Bred and showed boxers for years and the worst they will do is slobber or lick you to death! I suspect some regions have added them because they come under bull breeds,,,,Have seen several in this area....(always make a fuss of them!)... and they are never muzzled...
