Hi all, it's my birthday soon and would like to go out for the day. I like independent shops with crafts, clothes and handmade jewellery and cobbled streets, lovely buildings etc. Have you any recommendations? Thank you x
Lorca old town is wonderful with an Artisan centre and lots of interesting museums and old buildings including the Easter embroidery workshops which are usually open for viewing, not sure yet with Covid rules on opening times. they have parking down the back and the high street has some nice shops too. at the moment you have to go via junction 840 via the private hospital road as the main road in and the high street is dug up for road works. It is also interesting to see the damage left from the earthquake and all the facias of the buildings they are trying to save.
