My husband and I are thinking of moving to Turre in a couple of years but still want to work part-time would this be possible?  We have two small dogs has anybody moved over to Spain with animals if so how have they adapted.

Thank you

Diane

Hello

I moved to Turre in June last year with my two dogs and they have settled really well. The vet in the uk wanted to charge me £200 each for the dogs to get their Leishmaniasis (this is a controllable disease that affects some Mediterranean dogs, it is transmitted by the Sandfly Mosquito).injections that cost  70 Euros in total here.

The vets in Garrucha are fantastic and the Kennels 5 Bones just as brilliant, I have personally used both.

I also work over here as I own a company in the uk that permits me to do so. There are lots more information I can tell you about if you so wish about working here also.

Its been a steep learning curve for me on many levels but the best thing I have ever done in all my life and Im only 53 yrs young.

If you would like to have my personal details PM  me any time.

Wishing you all the sucess and happiness in the world.

M

Hello Mel

Thank you for your reply I would love to no more about working in Spain (do you work over here?) and the buying of property process also medical costs i.e. doctors and dentists.  Sorry I just want to no everything there is to moving to Spain.

We were looking at an over 50's community property which is in the process of being built in Turre (as it will be a couple of years before we would be looking at moving) but not sure yet if they allow dogs!

If you wouldn't mind whenever you can find 5 mins to let me no any information you may have as and when you find the time.

thank you so much for your reply (would it be okay to private message you or you can private message me as I am new to all this forum stuff haha)

this is not really in answer to your question, but my husband and I are too looking into the new development that is going to be built in Turre. Does anyone know if this is legitimate, heard that it can be risky to buy off plan. We are hoping to move over next year, rent first for 6 months. Its  been a choice between Turre and Garrucha.

Best wishes

Sue and Neil
