Im looking to install a security camera over looking my front gate! We live in a large property well away from any neighbors.surrounding walls and electric gate. I need to see who is outside before I open the gate. Ive been told that it is illegal to have a camera looking outside your property.Any info is welcome

If you have Wi-Fi in your home it's very simple or you can install one with cables im no professional but I've fitted my own and a friend's. With no problems mine cost me arouned 300 euros. I could fit you the same for the cost of my fuel and a day or 2 wages. Regards Tim
thanks but fitting one is not the issue. Ive been told that it is illegal to have a camera facing outside your property line !!!!

I dont know i dont have a problem with mine i can see at least 50 mts clear faces day and night and at least 100 Mts down 2 side on the streets. You can get a good wifi camara the size of 50 pence piece
