Driving down from Santander

Burgos Hotel In Burgos.  Very reasonable.  Also allows pets

Thanks for this. How far is that from Santander in time? I was thinking about 5 hours from Santander so perhaps a little further south.

3.5 hrs  south of Santander at Junc 99 on motorway is a really nice pet freindly hotel. Small village to raer has a couple of bars. Good stopover around 60E, will try to find name.Leaves us a 6hr drive following day to Huercal Overa.

We have also stayed at Mirasierra a few times, very nice hotel and good price we find evening meals a bit expensive so we drive out about 5 min nice bars much cheeper, best to phone and book because they gett booked up early

Beers on you if you enjoy. Did you buy in Turre or elsewhere, We are in Fuente Amarga a small traditional village near Los Lucas Resturant.

Jim. For the first 6 months we have taken a rental further north near to Alicante, then the plan is to move down towards Turre for the next 6 months, we will keep looking around for a couple of years before we buy but more than likely around the turre/Jurgena/Cuevas de  Almonzora area.
