My husband Geoff and I are holidaying in Roquetas de Mar 27 Jan - 27 Feb and are keen to join a Padel group, walking group and hire e-bikes so we can explore the area and meet local people. We are an active, sociable, early 60s couple. Also, where is the best canival in the area please? Any other advice very much welcomed. Thank you.

There are Padel courts at the 360 Sport Centre on Avenida Mediterráneo in Roquetas.I don’t know of local groups that play. You can hire e-bikes on Avenida Serena but best to try in holiday season. When you say ‘carnival’ what are you meaning? Not much of that kind of thing in Winter

Hi Chris, thanks for your very helpful reply. We will check out the Padel courts when we get there and hopefully will get to hire some e-bikes too. I was wondering whether there were any festivals or events in the Almería area during February as would love to go to them.

Sorry. Not that I know of, as far as Roquetas is concerned. You missed the Three Kings procession on the night of 5th January!
