Why not buy from a local furniture shopping in Vera where they will prob deliver for free or a small fee and they won't charge for assembly?

it was a particular modular wardrobe which I have seen and liked from IKEA, I could at a push get it in my car for my next visit but I thought it would be easier if I could do it all in Almeria.

I second this.  Couple of good shops opposite the carefour on the retail estate just down from where you are.  I wish I’d known about them last year before embarking on the Malaga Ikea trip!  

Hi, You could try HomeAlmeria shop on Calle Salzillo ,next to Aurgi Auto!

They collected all my IKEA stuff and I picked up from them ,near motorway.

Ring them first ! 950 801080 ,ask if they have the latest IKEA brochure ?

Or list the items you require with ref .numbers ,then give them an email

address etc ,and one week later you have your good sat the shop to

pick up ok. Saludos

This service has been available for a few years and now may not be as cheap as the delivery service offered by Ikea which has come down considerably in price in the last year.  Ikea will also deliver to your door.  I don't think this Company in Roquetas does that.

I bought enough from IKEA (a few years ago in Malaga) to furnish my whole apartment. Had no problem whatsoever with the quality of the furniture but the delivery charge was astronomical 

My last trip to IKEA Malaga I was subject to a distraction robbery in the car park which proved to be expensive and very upsetting so I’m not keen to go back! 

Might look into the alternative during my next trip
