Hi any advice welcome.
I am moving out to work in August (job secured for september)
I would like to look at the flats before I commit to a 12 month contract, can anyone recomment a cheap short term rental for maybe a few days for when I get there and the interim between my arrival and me moving into my new rental?

Your best bet before committing to a LT rental is to rent a holiday apartment for a week or two - though could be pricey in late August. Try out Trip Adviser or Holiday Rentals or Air BnB.
