Has anyone recently gone from Portsmouth to Santander on the ferry recently . Just wondering about some stuff I’d like to take over. It’s bits & pieces mainly but I have an old chair too. I read that if you are moving the contents of your house that Everything has to be listed…in Spanish & proof that it is over 6 months old. I don’t have a receipt for the chair..it was bought second hand & the other stuff is mainly birthday & Christmas  presents. What are customs like? I was planning on bringing the last bits over last year but couldn’t because of Covid  Thanks

depends if you are in a car or a van of course.  you are more likely to be stopped with a van.  if the chair looks second hand then you shouldn't have problems mostly you just drive through, just showing passport and other id if using it ie residencia or TIE.
