Hello.
Does anyone know of a car place that can help with a broken key card for a Renault Megane please? The Renault dealer in Almeria is charging a lot to replace it but the car is old and may not last that long so it's not worth their price. The main problem is that they can't lock the other doors or the boot. The battery isn't the problem, it's the actual key card. Any tips/suggestions are really appreciated.

Just a very long shot. Worth a try.
Switch on record a voice message on your phone. Press button on your remote control if it's working.
If your remote control gives an ultrasonic signal (your ear won't detect it), it will still be recorded by your phone. If it operates by radio signal, it probably won't work for you, but it won't cost anything to try.
If you're extremely lucky when you play this back, it'll work instead of the remote. You may need try from different angles.
It works on my Hyundai and is helpful if the battery goes flat on my remote.
