We moved to cajamar too once we knew where we would be living - it would be a 60km round trip to Sabadell now!

Use Cajamar for everyday banking needs but use Wise to finance it.If you keep money in Spanish banks the authorities can access and take money without authorization,they can't do that with a UK based account.So keep the minimum in any Spanish based institution....

...actually being able to do anything!!
Sabadell are on the ball with maintaining and updating the app and keeping it secure. I really do like using it and do not feel any concern at all. (at this point I should point out I have been involved with IT for many years, have written websites and had some involvement in internet security)
I went into the branch but was told I had to download the app to activate my debit card. I could not do this in the bank as I was told they did not have WiFi (probably didn’t want customers using it)
Anyway came back to our apartment and downloaded the app. Accessed my account but I cannot see anywhere to activate a card. The only reference to cards is the one that allows me to request one. Do you know where it is on the app please as I need to draw out some money?

On the Sabadell app front page, scroll down until you see “All my cards”
Click on that and it will show you what cards are linked to the account. Click on the card and it should allow you to activate it

Are any cards at all showing as being registered?
It’s under the block that shows you the balance of your accounts

Yes found that part but it just asks me if I want a card

Is it possibly that the only card the bank sent has my wife’s name on it even though it is a joint account?

Should have sent one card for you each. Both should appear there if they are linked to account
