Can anyone tell me if the Spanish language classes are still being taught at the Las Marinas location? I am living in Roquetas this year and would love to improve my very basic Spanish. Thank You!

No, they stopped in March 2020 with the Covid lockdown. A great loss. They have not resumed, I have asked at the Education offices.

Hi, Mary, I have been looking as well. I have been told that I can join a group next Tuesday. It is in Roquetas itself not the urbanisation. I live by the port. Would you like to meet up , if convenient , at the kiosk at the port for a coffee and I will explain more as there might be a place for you as well. I am old so I don't go far.

Hi Margaret. That is very interesting! Is the group run by/via the town hall? I’m interested if it is, as I can use the workbooks I originally purchased in 2019. (I’m in my 70s)

Hello all, there are free classes run by the government, unfortunately you are too late to enrol for this year. We registered in June and had our first lesson last week.
It's the interculturalidad course and registrations are made at avenida Juan bonachera in Roquetas, the link below has all the info. hope it helps.

Well since the fest is tomorrow can we meet Sunday at 10? My whole day is free so if you prefer another time that is fine. If you could please give me a more precise location because I am mew to Roquetas (1 1/2 weeks) and tend to be directionally challenged!
