The health centre near us does not do it any more.  Don't know about private health care, but my doctor recommended Otocerum drops for 2 or 3 days and syringe them on the 4th yourself.  You can buy a syringe at any chemist, but i usually find the Otocerum has disolved any wax and therefore not  much comes away.  It works for  me and i wear hearing aids so need to do it about every couple of months or so.  Hope that helps.

No Specsavers in this area though.  But you could give Multi Opticas in Garrucha a try or any optician who also do  hearing tests. N

Some people swear by 'Hopi Ear Candles'. An easy DIY solution, you can buy them from Amazon.es.

Tried the hoppi candles  but did no good.  Went to a salon.  Didnt fancy sticking them in my ear myself.  The doctor recommended Otocerum thats why i chose it.

Instead of expensive potions from the chemist try good old olive oil
