Hi. I'm looking for a good reputable car hire firm for a vehicle from 20th-27th July. LEI airport-Mojacar. I've gained info that Gold are not the best and wish to avoid being done over on vehicle return. Any suggestions please? Thanks in advance, Stu.

I've seen prices advertised £36- £176 for the week. Using common sense, the lesser price suggests fly by night company, but as advertised on this forum, I'm wondering if the lower priced company can be trusted not to 'take advantage'. Recent experience/knowledge and advice would be greatly appreciated. Stu.

Try Al Andalus car hire we used them all the time before we moved here permanently. You can contact them by website or telephone the owner Dave Baxter on +34664269440 he may be fully booked but worth a try. The price quoted is what you pay and no hidden extas and they can meet you at the airport but i believe it's still cash only on arrival.

Try macaron mojacar playa. I’ve been using them for years and I have always been satisfied with their service.

Go to the website and take a look

We used firefly and didnt like them, i thinkit wasfrom Alicante though, big queues and slow service.  We used Goldcar the other week and service was excellent (that was from Almeria)  Such an easy hand over, chap was at the parking area to check over our car when we arrived, no need to go to desk and wait.

Ive used Bravo car hire for a number of years. And have always been very please with them. There are two types of car hire. One being the cheapest initially but having to put down a large deposit off your credit card ie.1000.00 euros for insurance but if you bring car baxk with scratcges etc they will take off anything damaged.you take a chance. Also advised to take photos of car all around before excepting it.

The other way which is the way we hire the car is having full cover it costs more but if something happens your covered. Usually a small deposit is locked on your card about 100.00 which is unlocked and no money taken onxe they have the car back.

Hope this helps.
