Hi all, just a quick one, Which would you advise for registering with the public medical center, the one in Garrucha or the one in Mojacar pueblo for English speaking doctors and service.

Thanks in advance.🤔

We recently moved to marina de la Torre in Mojacar and were told that with a Mojacar padron we had to register at Mojacar and there are no English speaking doctors there so we'd need àn interpretor for appointments.  The doctor is allocated to you by the system no choice.  There is an English spoke n Dr in the private sector at Parque Commercial if you need one.

Dennis777 if you live in Vera surely you will be on their padron and so register with the doctor's surgery there?

Do you have medical cards/residencias? If yes you go to the Town hall in Vera çathedral square with passports and address to register on padron.  Then take padron and passport to medical ceñtre in Vera i think it's in the road where the market starts but the townhall will tell you.  Not sure if you'll find any English spoken, but they do in the information shop.

If you do register for your Padrón in Vera, if that is the Ayuntamiento for the area you live in, you will register at the Centro de Salud in Vera which is corner of Calle San Cleofas (one down from where the market is) and Calle Alfarero Salvador Hernandez.

You can ask at reception to register with the “English Speaking Doctor” there.  Angela is lovely and has limited English, but can speak.
