Hi there, I was taking Femoston HRT from the UK and came off it in January due to moving here but now the hot flushes are all back again. I could go and see the doctor, but as a matter of interest, can you buy HRT over the counter at the Farmacias or would I need to get a new prescription? Thanks in advance.

Ive been trying isoflavins (Menoden i think its called) and flax seed. Not much difference unfortunately.

When I moved to Spain about 5 years ago and was taking HRT, the only way I could continue was by seeing a gynaecologist privately who can prescribe it. After a few months I went to my GP here and she prescribed them for me, so I didn’t have to pay the full price.

I take tibilone. Took my UK prescription into the farmacia and was able to purchase over the counter. In fact I have even been able to buy it with just the old box. Full price was just over 11 euros.
Now I have a Spanish prescription and pay 10%.

Hi, I’m planning a trip to lloret de mar, is there otc hrt there in any pharmacy? I take evorel combi but see they do a similar one called estailis continuous..any help appreciated..
