I’ve tried and tried to register for this on the website recommended by the post on the forum, but they keep asking for my uk address, as I don’t have oneI can’t go any further. Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou
the correct site for the card for residents in Spain asks you for your address in Spain so you are not on the correct site.

It seems that the card is just for UK residents that travel abroad not 'live' unless you are a pensioner or on certain benefits

just received our cards applied for in November!
We got ours this week, valid till 1st March 21 ???
