Got to collect our TIE in March from Almeria, but apart from taking the appointment slip and passport, what else do we have to take?
Thanks

Hi Maggie,
You only have to take your old residencia certificate which you hand over (if you have one) , apart from what you have mentioned. There is a queue (usually large!) outside, as they only let in a few at a time. Best to wear appropriate clothing in case there's a cold wind and also comfy shoes. Just opposite the building in front of the queue is Mercadona if you need the loo! I was 2 hours in the queue and arrived about 15 minutes before the time it mentioned on the appointment sheet. Once inside, it took about 30 minutes to get seen to and then about 5 minutes more.
Passport and appointment slip only when you go in and get seen they will finger print you again to check its you and then pass you your card.
