Mojacar Playa and Puerto Lumbreras

The Almeria-Albox shuttle on Exclusive AIrport Shuttles finished at the end of March 2018. So no, unfortunately there isn't a direct bus from the airport to Cantoria. It looks as though you'd have to use a taxi.

That is so disappointing. Public transport out here is hardly user-friendly.

So-

Hire car

Bus into Almeria city from airport & then Alsa Bus or even, if possible, train to Lorca and then public transport from there, if any.

Advertise on here, arboleas forum & facebook forums for a lift. You may be lucky but people are generally a little cautious.

Can get your visit off to a bad start.

Exclusive Airport Shuttles still runs to Mojacar, so it may be cheaper to use them and then get a cab from the Mojacar area? maybe not, just a thought.

There is a bus that leaves Almeria bus station at around 3 pm, going to Chirivel but stopping in Cantoria at around 5 pm.  We've used it ourselves.

Meant to say that it's an Alsa bus.
