Is Uber in Spain? Do they have a presence in the Turre area? Or will there be just local taxi firms?

No and there are some local taxi services

Expensive or cheap?
No Uber, but there is a local equivalent - BlahBlah Car - that is a hell of a lot cheaper than taxis

Hi! Could you advise me? Bla Bla Car, is it ever possible to arrange one to get from Lubrin to get to Almeria town, to be able to visit the agency there for a personal assessment, to get the paperwork required to licence for a dog? And I wonder if any drivers would ever take a dog in their car to get to a vet to register in either La Alfoquia, Arboleas, Zurgena, Albox or Turre? I don't drive and would need assistance to get set up? No vet in Lubrin. Also, on the off chance, do you know where the nearest police station is to Lubrin, to get a CRB criminal records check? Many thanks! Cath

I honestly cannot say what availability will be - but I believe there is an app you can download to the phone and check availability, what they will carry etc etc.
With regards a vet, I’d heartily recommend Ellen in Turre; English speaking, fantastic vet.
