Hi all

After some advice please, we are in the process of purchasing a property in Lijar, we would like broadband at home but I’m a little reluctant to pay a monthly tariff as the property will only be used a handful of times a year, are there any other options available to us under these circumstances, when we are there the internet usage will be heavy.

Many thanks and stay safe

Clare 😉

Yes next are good, give 48hrs notice to have switched on and off and around £4 per month when not used.

We use Albox-online, based in Albox, not sure if they cover Lijar but like yourselves we are only here 6/7 months a year, we only pay when we are here, either for full calendar months or you can also pay for single weeks, that works out slightly more expensive but if you are leaving mid month can be a saving, there is no charge when you are not using their internet.

Hi are in the same situation we own a property near Rioja Gador we have a Vodafone contracts here in the UK unlimited data so when we are in Spain we can use 25GB of data in Spain per month so if we are there for 5weeks you get 25GB for week's in the monthly contract cycle and if you are in Spain when you monthly contract cycle starts again you get another 25GB we don't seem to have a problem.

You can get a monthly contract from Vodafone which gives you 25GB for 25euros.

We usually get that contract for our visitors as they are usually on other network contract's and there Spanish service is usually not good

Best of luck
