Hi, after being stung 4 times whilst pruning an orange tree, i discovered 2 wasps nests under 2 sunbeds. I was told recently the easiest way to get rid of them by spraying them with WD40 either early morning or evening time. Gave it a try and all sorted within a couple of minutes.

Now before anyone comments about you shouldn't kill wasps, these were in a place where they were a danger to people so had to go but we still have 4 other nests around the garden where they are out of the way so can do what they want to do without causing any problems to anyone.

Best wishes,

Paul.

Thank you so much for replying. We have sorted it. I agree if they are causing no harm then they can be left alone but these were right in the pathway to get in and out of the villa. Could not risk the children getting stung. Again thanks for your advice.

If you contact the town hall they may well send someone to remove it for a small fee
