Transferwise have a very good on-line system. Good rates with minimal charges. They show you exactly what the costs are - well worth a look.

Why not just leave youre pension in youre UK  bank and draw it out using youre bank card ?, do a budget and withdraw what you reckon you'll need for the month, simples.

That works out as very expensive, drawing cash from your UK account via a machine. You pay high transfer charges (your bank does not give you the best current exchange rate) plus a charge by your U.K. bank for using the machine.

One single withdrawal per month wouldnt cost that much, Unicaja dont charge a fee as opposed to Santander owned Peoples bank which charges €5 per transaction !!
