Hi everyone

Just starting the process for a non lucrative visa.   Having recently attended a seminar regarding the process i was inforned that once you have the visa and somewhere to live in Vera you can only return to the Uk a maximum 2 weeks per year for the first 5 years...is this correct??

Also once you have obtained the visa for spain do you have to live in spain or can you live in other countries??

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Once you have an NLV, you may not spend more than 10 months aggregate in the first five years outside Spain and no more than 182 days (6 months) of that 10 month total in any one year.

This means you are “restricted” to living in Spain as even if you stay in another EU country, you are still outside Spain
