Hi

Been told to switch to NESCAFE ORIGINAL DECAFFEINATED Coffee.

Has to be this brand.

Does anyone know of any Supermarkets in the Vera, Garrucha area where I could buy jars of this product?

Many thanks,

Dave.

Have bought this in Consum and Mercadona. Intrigued why it has to be that particular brand?

The Mercadona in Gurrucha definitely has both.

It may be due to the method of caffeine extraction but you'd have to drink a lot of it for there to make any difference.

Even doctors can come out with some weird theories sometimes.  A French diabetes specialist told a relative of mine that he oughtn't to drink ...(wait for it!) except for the odd glass of CHAMPAGNE!!  I really can't see why dry white wine or dry Cava wouldn't have been acceptable, but there you are.

If you ask for a cafe con leche descafeinado DE SOBRE in bars, most places have the Nescafé brand.

I have drunk de-caf coffee and tea for at least 15 years......Nescafe do make coffee for other people at a cheaper price! (Have a bit of a search on line..... It has to be a cold water extraction for it to be best......so that is why it is more expensive.....mind you it might be that the doctor has only ever heard of Nescafe de-caf....LOL.... As someone else says you would need to drink a lot for the process to be any effect on you. All older people or people who care for their bones/ heart should drink de-caf.....it really does taste the same.....All that caffeine in coke is going to come back and bite the younger generation on the bum one day!
