Ive been here 3 weeks and my daughter forwarded on a parcel that arrived after we left. She sent it via post office over 2 weeks ago and weve not received it nor did i get my birthday cards 2 days ago. The address we were given by the agent i added the apartment number to it and now im worrying about whether it was right to so. Should address's have the apartment number when living on an urbanization?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Post will not be delivered to your apartment door, you will have postal boxes. If it's a parcel normally a delivery note will be left in the box. You take that, along with your passport for identification purposes to pick up your parcel. The important thing is you have your post box address not your home address.

Hope that helps. Your agent or neighbours should be able to help you.

Delivery companies will deliver to you personally. It sounds like others have had deliveries so you are easy to find.

It's post office deliveries that are delivered to post boxes. You will probably have Sen them in the grounds somewhere, you should have had one assigned to you when you bought your apartment.

Also don't not be bluffed by people who tell you to use shops who will post letters parcels etc for you because the Spanish postal system is bad. It isn't. It is more reliable and faster.

Were renting this apartment only arrived 3 weeks ago, but dont have a key as yet,  for an allocated box, the landlird is apperantly sending to the agent. But my hubby can get his hand in the box and its empty. Someone said all parcels semt via post system.i have a card to collect these.  There is a little post building never anyone in it though so weve no idea if parcels are put in there at all. It easbmy bday 3 days ago and i didnt get any cards that were posted over a week ago. If i need to is there a way i can ask the postal service to look for my parcel?

Many thanks carol

Is the notification yellow and say Correros? If so, then it will say on it the address and opening times of the office where the parcel can be collected.

As you are on Vera Playa the nearest post office (correos) is Vera town, up in the main square near the church.  If you don't speak Spanish you may get by with a translator app on your phone, or take someone with you that does speak Spanish. The post girl comes around in a white car around 1 to 1.30 each day in my area, depending on where on the playa you live it could be earlier.  Ask a neighbour if there are any,  and certainly your agent as the should speak the language. Sorry can't be more specific.
