Can a non resident rent out apartment, or do I need a visa or something.

No visa requirements if your a tourist and stick to the 90 day rules.

If you are renting it out as a holiday apartment you will need a tourism licence number. There is certain criteria to be met to get the license. we looked in to it but decided aginst it. If it's long term you are fine but be aware that for a non resident you will pay Spanish tax at 24%. It used to be 19% but they have just put it up.
