Television and internet.
I have just bought an apartment on parque Vera iii. Can anyone tell me best way to obtain TV and internet. I'm not always there and aerials are not allowed. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,
Not sure what is meant by aerials and you should ask to make it clear? The small internet aerials used by many internet companies are about the size of your hand and unobtrusive? A good system would allow TV to come via internet sources.
There were a couple of internet companies using a contract system. When you are not here you pay a base rate like 6E a month and when you are here you pay the going rate. I remember Next did a system like this but I don't recall the others of f the top of my head.
Next were fine and I went with them because they were a localised company and I had a bad time with national internet companies like Orange. They were friendly and the service was good. Recently the service has changed and now I would say if you went with them fine because they have the experience and have been around long enough although I wouldn't go out of my way to make a recommendation.
Most areas of Vera Playa have ready access to cable internet at good speeds and things have moved along in the last twelve months, as always with tech.
When you get to contracts find out how long you are obliged to be with the company and what the leaving process is?! This is not the UK and some things are not the same.
Good luck!

Thank you for the information. I'm coming to Vera tomorrow and will look into it.
Thank you
Hi I can confirm having also just purchased an apartment in Vera that Next has a good deal for Internet. We just bring our amazon stick with us and plug it in. I have access to my account on line so can also turn the service off. On for a minimum 30 days for around 38€ a month including IVA. As we are not there this month's bill is 3.57€. Best of luck.

They are very helpful and will pass you over to someone who speaks english. I have just looked on their website and looks like free installation may be on offer.
Hope this helps.

Does anyone know what sort of download speeds you get with the Next Vacaciones package? Is it something that can be used for e.g. Zoom or Google Meet video calls?
