Free TV aps for tablet not via firestick

I've been using Livetv for ages but all of a sudden unless i live in Asia it appears ITV in English is not available. Either i get a "cant download data," or." Cannot connect to this site". Has it finished with UK or am i just unlucky. Have Tried other ", free" sites which end up wanting your card number.. WHY , if it's a free site do they want this? I am not giving my card details to anyone. Can anyone help?
