Hi everyone.

Quick question about the financial requirements for NLV, can the amount be made up of monthly pension income and savings?, I emailed the consulate in the UK last month but apparently they're on strike.

    Thanks lovelies x

The straightforward answer is YES.  Your financial requirement can be reached by any (legal!!) means, or combination of means.  As long as you can show you meet the financial requirement, how it is made up is not a matter they concern themselves with

Does it have to be all in bank at same time or just show you earn that pension income over the year?xx

Now that I REALLY don’t know and I would also guess that different consulates have differing views on how to apply that.

Hopefully someone who has come over on an NLV will be able to answer that particular question.

Just done ours 6 months ago, doesn't matter how it's made up as long as its there.

Showed saving certificates, bonds, bank etc. Pension P60 although London seemed more interested on our Medical Insurance.

Good luck and just make sure your paperwork is correct. Don't be put off by some negative comments on previous sites and reviews.
