Hello. Does anyone on this forum use next for their internet and what are their views. We are currently with a provider and spend more time offline than online so thinking of switching to someone closer.

Many thanks and any advice would be gratefully appreciated

Hi,

I asked the same question some weeks ago and it was.mainly positive. Think it may depend on location & contracted speed.

Have you thought of cable. Movie star & Vodafone have packages if they have laid to your area. If you contact the local offices with your address they will tell.you.

We could have had Mojacar Playa apt but too expensive & we are away a lot. So sticking with Telplay currently.

Best wishes,

Bob and Sandra

Hello

Thank you Bob and Sandra. We are currently with albox online but as mentioned it spends an awful lot of time offline with various faults. I live towards el piar and I don't think any cables have been laid out this way.

I will pop and see next today and gauge what they have to offer.

Many thanks again

Phil

Apologies Phil.

Had been arranging collection with a Garrucha person & didn't click to VR. Senile moment!!!!!

Just a thought.but ask those lovely people at Wood2Go on VR Poligono. Super helpful & they might advise.

By all means mention Dr. Bob and Sandra.

Saludos,

Bob

Hi Phil

We use Next Comunicaciones and always been very happy.  It does depend on location as they have to be able to fit a dish on your roof that can communicate with their relay station.  We had their basic package when we weren't in Spain very often, and have since upgraded to the faster option.  Streaming is pretty reliable, for example I was able to watch a lot of the IPL over the last couple of months.

We use Next in Mojacar and Telplay in the Velez Rubio area and don’t have much of a problem with internet.

Hi. We're in Pueblo Laguna, near Garrucha, and use Next. Its probably about +99% reliable. Very rarely does it play up. We have it for internet & the TV package. When not using it, its something like 5Euro on standby (possibly less). There are no limits on usage.  The TV package can go back 2 weeks on many channels (quite useful).

Good luck.

Martin.
