We are moving from the UK and my son is football mad, Are there teams in the area he can join / train with?

Yes. There are regularly teams of lads of various ages playing and training at two pitches outside Deportivo 360, which is the Sports Centre on Avenida Mediterráneo in the Urbanisation. I guess you’d have to enquire there for details but whatever school he attends would probably also be able to advise.
