can anyone recommend a local Taxi/transfer to pick us up from airport to roquetas de mar? we are visiting to look at holiday properties, and would prefer a local to do do our transfers as we will be coming over on a regular basis. Thank you

Try Almeriatransfers.com contacted them a few weeks ago and they quoted me 45 Euros each way.
I always use 950 22 22 22. No complaints so far, and reasonable prices

Try blablacar.es.
You are linked up with private cars with empty seats. This is also in the UK but not as widely available.
Much cheaper than a taxi. Fully insured with clean driving licence etc.

Hi I was given this company by the English receptionist at the local doctors in Roquetas although we haven’t used them yet. They apparently charge €10 pp & have various drop off/pick up points in Roquetas. They can be booked via their website- Exclusive Airport shuttle Almeria to Roquetas. The lady I spoke with had used them & was very impressed with their service.

I agree with Lyn228. We've used Exclusive Airport Shuttles regularly from Murcia and Almeria to Los Gallardos. It's a great, inexpensive and reliable service. Although we're not in the Roquetas area I would assume their service is as reliable as where we are. They meet all flights, even if (as has happened to me) you're the only booking.
