Does anyone one know of REASONABLY priced insurance cover.  We are hoping to travel to Roquetas for around 6 weeks Sept/Oct 2020.  The quotes on line are just plain silly- over £250 for one trip.  I know we sound old (72 and 68) but we both are fit and healthy and walk regularly over 20 miles a week.  When looking at the insurance cover it looks like the majority is for cancellation and cost of damaged luggage.  We only need flights and taxis (had 2 lots of flights cancelled already and Jet2 refunded the money very quickly) so don’t need cover for cancellation.  Have our own apartment so therefore no luggage.  It seems as though we are paying an awful lot of money for something we don’t need.  Any suggestions?

Hi

Do you have credit cards. Some offer travel insurance as part of the deal. Indeed I have a debit card that does that too.

regards,

Yes we do have Lloyd’s Gold Card but unfortunately if you have pre-existing non life threatening conditions and want to be covered for these once again they penalise you.

Hello. just renewed ours. Found the cheapest was a company called STAYSURE. This was not for medical only as have been told there is little or no difference in price. A good source of info is of course -moneysavingexpert.com-.
