We are driving to Roquettas De Mar in January 2021, hopefully staying for a long holiday of around 6 months, our current car insurance is due for renewal in early November, can anyone recommend an English car insurance that would cover us for that long? I say English, only because we would need insurance for here (UK) from early November until end of January. Would appreciate any advice please
after Brexit you are not going to be able to stay in Spain for that length of time. 90 days will be your maximum stay and then you must leave and not return to Europe for another 90 days.

ok so you would need to change your car to Spanish plates or get a Spanish one and then Spanish car insurance will apply you will also need to change your driving licences to Spanish and register to pay Spanish tax if you are going to be residents. you need to get this all done at the same time.

Saga will cover you (or they did before brexit) for travel in Spain and the UK. We changed from Saga and now use a spanish insurance company for our UK car. Speak to Ben or Glenn at Albox insurance they are very helpful. [email protected]
