Inhaler for asthma: Dr or pharmacist?

Hi. 

I moved to roquetas 3 weeks ago and I've needed my blue inhaler quite a few times since being out here (combination  of allergies and the stress of moving) I still have enough left for a few days.... work are setting me up with a doctor this week, but I'm curious of whether I will need to see the doctor every time I need a new reliever or if I can buy one over the counter? I'm also on steroid inhalers so will need to go to my Dr for that. I have a copy of my English repeat prescription.
