Mon mari et moi vivons ici a Roquetas depuis 15 ans et je peux vous recommander de vivre ici.  

Il y a beacoup  de gens d'hiver qui restent ici pour  3 mois ou plus.  Beaucoup d'hotels sont fermes parce qu'ils restent dans les appartements.

“My husband and I have been living here in Roquetas for 15 years and I can recommend you live here.

There are many winter people staying here for 3 months or more. Many hotels are closed because they stay in [rented] apartments.

I welcome you.”

My own reply (my French n’est pas bon) is that we have lived here for 15 months and recommend the area. It is still thriving in the winter and many bars and restaurants remain open. The health care system? Depends on what you require. We are pensionistas and are part of the state health care system and find this works well. Our clinic and doctor are just ten minutes walk away.
