can't see any flights from UK going ahead until they sort out this quarantine times for both countries.

I had booked with Jet2 for August from Belfast to Almeria.  I have heard nothing from Jet2 regarding cancellations yet. I had my Jet2 flights cancelled May to June.   However, I don't want to go if this quarantine is still on in either Spain or the UK.  If I travel by Dublin which I have done in previous years, I would still have to quarantine when back home in Northern Ireland.  There's  no avoiding it at present.  I could not relax and enjoy my 3 weeks stay with quarantine at the back of my mind.

Stansted. It’s a first for us from there, but it’s a good airport and only adds about 30 minutes to our journey. In fact this is our “moving” flight!! So it had better go!!😊

Fingers crossed for you .

I had 2 flights cancelled jet2 and easyjet 4th of july from Gatwick,  i dont have the courage to book again with Rynair.

Here’s wishing you a successful flight across - please please remember to bring masks though, whilst we are ending the State of Alarm on 21/6, a law has been passed making the wearing of masks obligatory in all indoor public places, on all public transport, and all public places where a distance of 1,5 metres between people cannot be ensured.  These measures are in force until the government is confident Coronavirus is under control.  They have stated that this will likely be when a vaccine is generally available, so masks, sanitizer and social distancing is very much a normal part of life for at least the rest of this year.

You will also be required to use provided sanitizer and gloves before entering supermarkets as well.

There is currently a 14 day quarantine period for people arriving from UK, you are well advised to see if this requirement is withdrawn or maintained.

Oh poo 💩!! That’s rotten.

No, my post was not quoting Ryanair - my post was my own reminder for anyone who is coming across.  Spain this summer is going to be a little different to what you may be used to - there are also restrictions on amount of people allowed on beaches, some have even introduced a “booking” policy where you have to book a “space” on the beach and for a set number of hours ...

Have Easyjet given any indication when they’ll allow you to re-book?  I know Jet2 are restarting flights 15th July.

Reading between the lines and speaking from personal experience. I get the impression that airlines are taking bookings knowing full well they will  not be taking off. In effect they have sold that ticket by offering you vouchers and making the refund process extremely difficult.

Yes easyjet allowed to rebook for the end of July free of charge, but who knows if they will definitely fly?)))

Ryanair also flying Dublin to Almería twice weekly from (I think) 4th July. Connecting flights from most parts of UK are €20 one way.

Ryanair requires each passenger wear a face mask for duration of the flight.

It is worth considering using a courier service to send your bags ahead and return them back after your trip. For example sendmybag.ie/sendmybag.co.uk charges €38/£35 to pick up your 20kg bag at your place in the UK or Ireland and deliver it to your place in Spain (or anywhere in EU).

This compares well with the price of checking in a bag and saves the bother of lugging it to and from the airport.  Allow 5-7 working days. Spanish mainland only. You can track your bag's progress online.

Opposite way round to your question but I was supposed to fly from Almeria to Gatwick on the 1st July. Last Tuesday (16th June) easyJet sent me an email saying the flight had been cancelled. Next available flight to Gatwick 1st August!

Yes same with us-we are now flying from malaga on 9th July - fingers crossed!
