Been in lockdown since trying to leave for UK with car[non resident]
Have not used for several weeks.Problem is that my 6months here is up by some weeks,and the vehicle mot will expire by the time
travel gets going.Do you think that the Spanish authorities will give any leeway to people in my position.Do not really want to abandon
the vehicle as I have many things to carry[I am solo]Any advise welcome.
Spain is going through the most tragic era in its history since the Civil War. More thousands than we know have died of Covid-19. There are many in your situation and the Spanish police have more on their minds than chasing honest law abiding europeans regarding overstays. I reckon you have no fears whatsoever.

UK mot have been extended for a period of 6 months?, until testing stations reopen, same as Spain so shouldn't be a problem.
